Black and White. Definitly
Tim - I love it. BW conversion is a tricky game. I don't know if PS Elements has an Image>Adjustments>Shadows/Highlights feature, but if it does it would be worth pulling your shadows back a little.
Also try cropping it so she occupies the right two-thirds of the frame. Alot of your photos place the subject smack in the middle but if you use the rule of thirds (explanation coming) you will find your photos have a greater dynamic composition.
Rule of thirds. Divide your frame into thirds, both horizontally and vertically. Where those lines meet are your areas of strongest interest and dynamic tension. In other words, your eye gets led into the frame and the picture can begin to tell a story rather than simply say "look at this". Or something. Explaining this is not easy in writing. Hope it helps.
Back to yer question: the BW looks great. I love BW.
